 Making a banner - 21st October 2006 |
After collecting some more climate pledges at the Wanborough farmers market, we headed off to Deb's house for some lunch, and made a banner to take to the Stop Climate Chaos rally on the 4th November.
Deb turns out to have a very talented daughter, who not only came up with a slogan for the banner, but also drew all the outlines for us to fill with poster paint*.

* I now know we should have mixed poster paint with pva glue for a weatherproof effect - ended up having to repaint with a coat of glue.
**Not quite finished-sleeves sewed to insert poles and ribbons attached. Now we need to find some poles!
