Sustainable Transport Meeting

The Go! Co-operative is dedicated to providing sustainable transport in a co-operative manner. It is currently negotiating with Network Rail and the Office of the Rail Regulator to start a Yeovil to Oxford rail service calling at several rural stations and Swindon. This is planned to start at the end of 2011. It expects to launch its first car sharing club in Swindon in March 2011. Sustainable bus services are also planned.

Go! Co-op has accepted Swindon Civic Trust's invitation to explain and discuss its plans and how local people can become involved.

The meeting, in the environmentally-friendly Central Library, is free to Swindon Civic Trust members. To help cover room hire and other costs, other people are invited to make a donation of £5. No booking necessary.
